About Depression

Levels of teen depression has increased substantially during the pandemic as social distancing prevents them from important social interactions and activities with friends.  Some significant signs of depression are:

  • Emotional changes such as feelings of helplessness and isolation

  • Inability to focus and/or concentrate

  • Changes in sleep patterns

  • Changes in eating habits or weight

  • A marked inability to enjoy tasks and activities they've previously enjoyed.
